Childhood Books
Today thus far has been a little better than yesterday. I went to Barnes and Noble and bought two books. While I was at the store I strolled over to the children's section. I reminsced about my childhood where I was almost guarenteed to have a book in hand. It's fun to look through all the books you read. I almost bought Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but maybe another time. While at the store, I kept imagining little me. I imagined myself looking through the books, trying to find my next adventure. I wanted to take my little self and give her the biggest hug possible to let her know what it feels like to be safe and loved. I wanted to go back and protect her from growing up.
